Exhibited in the Parament Chamber, which was redesigned in 2023, are ecclesiastical textiles that were originally the property of the Mainz electoral archbishops and the Mainz cathedral treasury. The fine materials are decorated with precious embroidery made of gold, silver and silk and testify to the wealth and elevated position of the Mainz archbishops. Also on display is liturgical equipment used during Mass in the Aschaffenburg Palace Chapel.

The entrance to the princes’ gallery, from which there is a view of the palace chapel, is also here. It was from this gallery that the electoral archbishop watched Mass. The two coats of arms from the time when Johannisburg Palace was built are a reference to its commissioner, Johann Schweikard von Kronberg, and were installed here when the palace was rebuilt.
